Skip Bayless demands Dak Prescott to be traded… for Aaron Rodgers?

Just one week after labeling Aaron Rodgers as a “choke artist,” FS1’s Skip Bayless has urged the Cowboys to trade Dak Prescott for Rodgers.

Dallas’ loss to the 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs has been widely attributed to Dak Prescott. The Cowboys’ official Twitter account even said as much in its analysis of the game: “Dak Prescott gave the ball away twice in the narrow loss to the 49ers, in a matchup the Cowboys had a chance to win if they didn’t again generate self-inflicted wounds.”

The Cowboys quarterback should be traded, and one of the guys he has criticized the most should be brought in to replace him, according to Bayless, who even went as far as throwing his No. 4 Prescott jersey into the trash after the team lost 19-12.

Bayless: “He’s never going to be anything more than middle-of-the-pack Dak”

“My bottom line, my conclusion, my devastated conclusion is Dak will always tease you without ever rewarding your patience in him. Who is he? He’s not who we need going forward,” said Bayless today on Undisputed.

“I think Jerry was so distraught after the game because he realized Dak Prescott is not the answer. I think he realized on the flight home, this ain’t the solution here.” Bayless continued. “To me, Dak should be on the trading block. Aaron Rodgers is on the trading block and maybe I’m playing fantasy football here… but the deals are pretty much the same over the next two years.”

Shannon Sharpe, the co-host, was left speechless by Bayless’ defense of Rodgers, a player he frequently disparages.

Rodgers’ future has discussed since Green Bay was eliminated from the playoffs. The 39-year-old Rodgers has so far indicated that he is not prepared to end his professional football career, but he has not ruled out leaving the Packers.
